More than 70 women icons took over Madison Square Garden for a sold-out benefit performance of Eve Ensler's award-winning play, "The Vagina Monologues," on February 10, 2001. The performance was part of V-Day 2001, an ongoing campaign to end violence against women.

Jane Fonda, who donated $1 million to the V-Day cause, is pictured below wearing a Wireless First headset microphone, performed the final monologue of the night.
